Tough Loss for Chicago as Indiana Rebounds

The Indiana Fever kicked off their home season with a hard-fought 71-70 victory over the Chicago Sky. After a slow start, the Fever found their rhythm in the second half and pulled away in the end. The win is Indiana's first home victory of the season.

The Sky led by four points at halftime, but the Fever came out strong in the third quarter and took a six-point lead. Chicago fought back to tie the game early in the fourth quarter, but Indiana answered with a layup by Victoria Vivians and a three-pointer by Aaliyah Boston to take the lead for good.

Vivians led the Fever with 18 points, while Breanna Stewart added 16 points and nine rebounds. Diamond DeShields scored 19 for the Sky, and Kahleah Copper added 18.

The Fever are now 2-2 on the season while the Sky fall to 2-3.
