Cleveland Browns Injury Report: Week 12 Update

Latest on Thompson-Robinson, Garrett, Cooper, and Elliott

Thursday, November 16, 2023

The Cleveland Browns have been hit hard by injuries in Week 12, with quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson (concussion), defensive end Myles Garrett (shoulder), wide receiver Amari Cooper (rib), and defensive tackle Jordan Elliott (ankle) all missing practice on Wednesday.

Thompson-Robinson is still in the concussion protocol, and his status for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans is uncertain. Garrett is also day-to-day, while Cooper and Elliott are both expected to miss multiple games.

The Browns' injury list is growing longer by the week, and it's starting to take a toll on the team. The Browns are now 7-3, but they have lost two of their last three games.

With Thompson-Robinson out, veteran quarterback Joe Flacco is expected to get the start on Sunday. Flacco has started nine games for the Browns this season, completing 64.8% of his passes for 2,123 yards, 11 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.

The Browns will also be without starting safeties John Johnson III (concussion) and Ronnie Harrison Jr. (ankle) on Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Browns are hoping to get some of their injured players back soon, but for now, they're going to have to rely on their depth to get through this tough stretch.
